    This is not an "heirloom piece" - BUT it is nicely-finished enough to fit in a room with "the good stuff" right beside it. Especially with a Boston fern draped over it!

    Assembly is easy (although the pilot holes for the lower shelf brackets were more like punches than pilots - a quick, careful pass with a very small drill will make your life much easier, and the brackets straighter). An Allen wrench is included to bolt the legs on.

    The result is a sturdy, attractive plant stand/table.

    After searching for plant tables of comparative height, these ones won by a lap.

    I had been looking for an antique English plant stand but had to settle for this Chinese plant stand! It is very pretty. My 12yo nephew put it together for me. The only downside is is that it’s a little top-heavy so you will need to place it somewhere where it won’t get knocked over easily.
