The inside of the top contains the high-density rubber tongues that are used to push the plant leaves into the blade grill. The cutting blades or wires are located below the grill. 2 place the untrimmed plants on the grill place the untrimmed plants on top of the grill. The plants should be many to make sure the grill surface is covered(approximately 40 dry. 3 place the top & handle back on the base Place the top & handle back on the top of the trimmer's base. 4 turn the handle clockwise about 15-30 Rounds using the handle, make 15-30 Complete turns, while spinning the handle, The inside rubber twist tongues multiplies the rate of the spinning plants & blades by over 30 times. A combination of the rubber tongues presses & rolls The plants into the spinning blades can improve the cutting efficiency. Only 30 S can yield one hour's work. 5 Remove the top & collect the plant open the top & Trimmed plants & their fragmental bud/leaves can be found individually on the middle grill & in the trimmer basin. Depending on the type of plants, the trimming can be used for the preparation of plants' Essential oils. 6 repeat the process for more harvest if you think the leavepiece are not small enough, keep repeating the Above process as many times as you want, or until you have completed your harvest. When finished, easy clean every part of the trimmer & store it. Hanging herb drying rack net (6 tiers & large 3' Diameter): Use to easily dry flowers herbs featuring snap together clips to quickly add or remove shelves. Snap together buckles to quickly add or remove shelves. Each level contains an adjustable center strap for added weight support.

    Straight blade works great with dried buds. Have not tried the aerated blade but the straight blade leaves a little more leaf on wet buds than I'd like. It does save a lot of time, I can trim in about 1/3 the time it takes by hand. Hand trimming looks a bit nicer but it smokes the same and this takes way less effort. The blades are adjustable for hight, I removed all the shims for a nice tight trim and the buds look nice and clean provided they are not too wet. Maybe try the aerated blade for wet trim, I just don't wet trim often. You do lose more triches than hand trimming but that is to be expected. All in all it's a great product and a time saver. Has a stainless bowl, silicone tines and bowl seal. Well built. I would purchase again.

    The handle was spot welded together and came apart. I turn it it’s a socket and ratchet. It works well with both green and dry. The hanging basket is the best for drying the trimmed bud. I love it.

    I take pride in my buds now that it is legal for me to grow my own. I had been carefully clipping them in an effort to keep all trichomes possible. Of course, there is ALWAYS a trade-off! I can make or grow anything except TIME! It was just taking way too long. This has substantially speeded up my process.

    A few things... Rotate at about 60 RPM... About once per second. Slower or faster doesn't work as well I have noticed. Depending on how much you trim prior to putting them in to trim... It may take 15-30 rotations... Backwards and forward... to get the buds looking like you may want. I still trim off the larger leaves and I try to trim off any discolored leaves first.

    Also... WATCH OUT as these blades are VERY SHARP! When I cleaned the machine and blades for the first time i was being very careful using alcohol to clean the blades with a paper towel. The blade sliced right through the paper towel and almost took off my whole finger tip. I bled like a stuck pig! I have had a bandage on it all week! I am MUCH more careful now making sure I never put myself in that position again!

    The machine has a gear reduction drive that rotates the blades probably 15-20 times for every turn of the handle. It just WORKS!

    Yes, I lose more Trichomes but I'll trade that for my time any day!

    The screw that holds the crank handle to the domed lid stripped out after one use. GARBAGE DESIGN!!! Luckily a crescent wrench sits on the hex shaft, so the handle really in not mandatory. Other than that it works adequately and definitely saves time trimming bud leafs.

    Performs terribly and wastes a lot of time in comparison to hand trimming. If you have zero standards about your finished product this might work for you. It takes longer to buck a plant, run it through this machine, and then hand trim to finish than it does to just hand trim, to begin with.
