It kills the weeds, not the lawn when used as directed. This atrazine-based formula controls both emerged tough weeds and weeds from seeds. Use it to control established weeds, including dollarweed, sandspur and Florida betony, and prevent weeds from emerging in the lawn. Spray any time temperatures are below 90 degrees. The QuickFlip hose-end sprayer activates at the flip of a switch. Spray Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns For St. Augustine & Centipede Lawns Concentrate when temperatures are between 60 degrees and 90 degrees – spraying in cooler temperatures may result in slower weed control. This formula can be applied during both dormant and growing seasons, but for best results, apply in early spring or in dormant periods when weeds or small or have not yet emerged. This concentrate bottle will treat 3,720 square feet of listed grasses.
